Rob has been incredibly passionate about music since age 6, when he began playing piano by ear at a friend’s house. He soon learned to read music, studying piano with Jenny Jeknavorian of Kensington, CT. In high school, Rob was ready for new challenges and began studying organ and jazz piano.
In 2009, Rob earned his bachelor’s degree from Muhlenberg College, an ELCA Lutheran affiliated liberal arts college in Allentown, PA, with double majors in Accounting and Music. While at Muhlenberg, Rob continued his piano studies under renowned jazz musician, Tom Kozic. He also performed in the Jazz Improvisation Ensemble, accompanied the Muhlenberg College Gospel Choir, and served as accompanist for student recitals, religious services, theater productions, and various campus performances.
Rob began his ministry at Faith Lutheran Church in July of 2009, where he directs the Faith Choir, Praise Ensemble, serves as the church organist and pianist and oversees a vibrant music ministry!
When not making music, Rob works in accounting and operations at a small company in South Windsor. He lives in Kensington with his partner, Jason, and enjoys going to the beach, wine tasting, interior design, sailing, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
