Come to Faith and experience a church made up of warm and caring people.

Who are we? We are increasingly diverse: mostly Euro-American, with growing numbers of Asian, African-American and Latino members. We also come from all walks of life: young working families with kids (we love kids!), retirees, singles, teens…you name it.

What do we do? We pray together. We sing together. We work together to improve our church and our community. We find joy in our worship and in each others’ company. And we love to make new friends like YOU!

What do we believe? We believe that God created and loves all of creation -- the earth and the seas and all of the world’s inhabitants. We believe that God's Son, Jesus Christ, transforms lives through his death on the cross and his new life, and we trust that God's Spirit is active in the world.

How can you find out more? We’d love to see you at any of our services or events (see the upcoming events calendar). We’ll gladly show you around and answer your questions. Our building is accessible to wheelchair users. If you'd like more information before you visit--or would like us to pray for you--please don't hesitate to send us an This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Christian Education = Sunday School + Faith Formation PDF Print E-mail

Sunday School and Faith Formation

 2010 pageant

Here at Faith we see Christian Education as a life long experience and offer Sunday School and Faith Formation for all ages. We ground all of our education in the Word of God and use a variety of modes and methods to learn about the saving love of Jesus through storytelling, bible study, videos, games, music and crafts. We address, in age-appropriate ways, real questions like these:

Are the Ten Commandments still relevant?
What does the Bible say about living in a world like today's?

Sunday School classes are offered for children age 3 though 5th grade Sunday mornings 9:30-10:30.

Youth Forum is an opportunity for Middle School and High School students to connect their faith and God's word with life as a teenager Sunday mornings 9:30-10:30.

Adult Forum is an opportunity to study and discuss the intersection of the Bible and everyday life takes place on Sunday mornings from 9:30-10:30.

Affirmation of Faith (confirmation program) is available monthly for 9th and 10th grade students.  Catechetical Conversations (CC) with the Pastor meet monthly for 9th graders and Confirmed+Contributing+Communing (CCC) mentoring for 10th graders is an ongoing dialog about discipleship with an adult member of the congregation selected by students in conjunction with parents/guardian and the pastor.

Wednesdays in the Word is an opportunity alternating weeks at two times and places to study Hebrew and Christian Scripture:

  • 12:00 noon at Faith ~ 1120 Silver Lane in the large classroom. Bring your Bible and a brown bag lunch.
  • 7:00 pm at  Woodcliff Estates ~ 130 Nutmeg Lane (alternating homes of Faith members) call the church office or check the weekly bulletin for location.

Come experience this informal Bible Study and small group time of scripture and prayer to spiritually feed you mid-week.  During the seasons of Advent and Lent, thematic learning and worship opportunities will be offered every Wednesday evening.

All are welcome, whether you're a long-time student of the Bible, just starting to follow Jesus, or wondering what the life of faith is all about. Contact the church office if you have any questions.

Habitat for Humanity / Thrivent Builds project PDF Print E-mail

On July 26, a crew from Faith helped out with the Habitat for Humanity building project. Some people installed siding, and others shingled the porch roof. It was a blessed day for all, and wonderful to help the Sanford family bring their house a little closer to being finished.
