This does not mean that all worshiping assemblies do the same things in the same way. Even so, worship is fundamental to our Christian and Lutheran identity. In worship, we encounter God’s mission to the world, centered in Jesus Christ. Jesus is the living and abiding Word of God proclaimed in the scriptures.
This explanation of our worship is focused around the familiar four-fold pattern of Gathering, Word, Meal, and Sending.
