Why are you here?
Not the place you are reading this; why are you here, on earth?
Why did God, if there is such a thing, place you here?
What’s the meaning of life; what’s your purpose in life?
What will happen to you when you die?
What’s it all about?
Are you tired, discouraged, worn out, running on empty,
wondering what the point of all this really is?
Do you want more out of life:
More joy, fulfillment, love?
Are you looking for answers?
For meaning and purpose?
Then we’ve got the greatest Good News to share with you!
Check us out.
We’re Faith Lutheran Church, a family of faith;
here to support and encourage one another in
God’s love,
and to share the love of Jesus Christ with the world.

Come to Faith and experience a church made up of warm and caring people.
Who are we? We are increasingly diverse: mostly Euro-American, with growing numbers of Asian, African-American and Latino members. We also come from all walks of life: young working families with kids (we love kids!), retirees, singles, teens…you name it.
What do we do? We pray together. We sing together. We work together to improve our church and our community. We find joy in our worship and in each others’ company. And we love to make new friends like YOU!
What do we believe? We believe that God created and loves all of creation -- the earth and the seas and all of the world’s inhabitants. We believe that God's Son, Jesus Christ, transforms lives through his death on the cross and his new life, and we trust that God's Spirit is active in the world.
How can you find out more? We’d love to see you at any of our services or events (see the upcoming events calendar). We’ll gladly show you around and answer your questions. Our building is accessible to wheelchair users. If you'd like more information before you visit--or would like us to pray for you--please don't hesitate to send us an

Worship Schedule
Beginning Sunday, January, 10 we will have two worship services: 9:00 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. We share Holy Communion at all services, and all are welcome.
|
Holy Communion at Faith
At Faith, we celebrate Holy Communion at all Sunday worship services.
We believe and teach that the Lord's Supper is Jesus's gift to all God's baptized people, and gives us spiritual strength to bring the Good News to our neighbors and the whole world. Whoever you are in your journey of faith, and wherever you are on that journey, you are welcome at our Holy Communion table. |

Sunday School and Faith Formation
Sunday School meets every week from the Sunday after Labor Day in September to the Sunday before Fathers' Day in June from 10:15 to 11:00.
Faith's Sunday School program is for ages 3 to 12. Young people learn about the saving love of Jesus through storytelling, bible study, videos, games, music and crafts. We address, in age-appropriate ways, real questions like these:
Are the Ten Commandments still relevant? What does the Bible say about living in a world like today's?
We offer an affirmation of faith (confirmation) program for those in seventh through ninth grades. And a teen Bible Study beginning February 7 from 12:15 to 1:15 on Sunday.
There are also many opportunities for adults to participate in faith formation (Christian education) activities. Currently, there is an adult Bible study during the Sunday school hour from 10:15 to 11:00.
All are welcome, whether you're a long-time student of the Bible or a seeker wondering what the life of faith is all about. Contact the church office if you have any questions. |
